Job Title: Studio Operations Manager and driver

Job Type: 5 days a week with opportunities for plenty of overtime

Experience: At least 1 year driving in London with experience of driving long wheel based vans. Ideally good knowledge of London venues and their rules and regulations.

​

 

Location: At our studio in London (E17 6SH) with occasional travel within the UK and abroad.

​

 

Salary: To be discussed and dependent on experience.

Job Description:

​

 

• Helping our team to deliver seamless events working in a range of venues including many historic venues with strict rules and regulations such as the V and A, the Historic Palaces and the Wallace Collection. 

• Cleaning and preparing props.

• Packing all arrangements and loading flowers and props carefully into vans.

• Driving to venues and having a good knowledge of London roads.

• Delivering designs alongside out team ensuring the correct protocols are adhered to.

• Clearing the event at the end of the night being careful to leave the venue in pristine condition adhering to site specific rules and regulations.

• Managing event support on site.

• Booking event support and helping with transport and logistics

• Ensuring the van and the studio are left tidy after each job, making sure to pack down and clear the designs on site or back at our studio.

• This schedule includes weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) as well as early morning and late-night shifts.

Essential Requirements:

​

 

• Full (and clean) drivers license required and proficient in driving vans in London

• No criminal convictions

• Has the right to live and work in the UK.

• 1 year of working in the events industry

• Strong and able to lift heavy props

• Fluent in verbal and written English

• Day and night shifts.

• Regular Monday to Friday work with overtime opportunities.

• Weekend work is a key component of this role.

• Highly organised
